You can make an appointment via the following ways:
- By visiting our Consulting Room
- Booking an appointment via Patient Access. You will need to be registered for our online services. Please complete our Register for Online Services form to use this option
- By calling the practice on 0161 368 3838.
All GP appointments will be triaged by a clinician. Due to high demand, we will have limited slots for the GP so it is important to be informed how this service will work.
Once you are booked into a slot, the clinician will contact you to discuss your issue. This call will take place before 12:00 for the morning slots and before 16:30 for the afternoon slots.
If the issue can’t be resolved over the phone, the clinician will book you in a face to face appointment at the surgery. Please bear in mind the receptionist will not be able to book directly into a face to face slot. This will be the decision of the clinician.
You can ring us to book a telephone slot. The reception will ask you for brief details, so we can give the information to the clinician performing the triage.
Evening And Weekend Appointments
Evening appointments with a GP or a nurse are available at Thornley House Medical Centre, Thornley Street, Hyde.
Weekend appointments are available at Ashton & Glossop Primary Care Centres. These appointments must be booked through our reception in advance, it is not a walk in service.
Cancelling an Appointment
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, this may enable someone else to be seen.
